The SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SAARC CCI) in collaboration with
Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) is organizing
the 4th SBLC under the theme "Peace and Prosperity through regional connectivity"
in Kathmandu, Nepal from 20-22 September 2011.The event is being organized in
partnership with the Federations of National Chambers of Commerce & Industry
of the SAARC member countries and is supported by Friedrich Naumann Stiftung
Fur die Freiheit. The first SBLC was held on 17-18 November 2005 at New Delhi,
second on 17-18 February 2007 at Mumbai and the third on 22-23 November 2009
at Colombo.
The main objective of this event is to create synergies for regional integration
and cooperation through effective networking of Business Community. The event
will be attended by high profile business persons, representatives of governments,
academia and development partners among others. There will be more than 200
delegates from the member states in addition to 200 participants from Nepal
participating in the event.
