15 April 2012- The Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FNCC) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the International Enterprise Management and Investment Association (IEMIA) of China to promote bilateral economic and business relations.
FNCCI President Mr. Suraj Vaidya, IEMIA Chairman Mrs. Allce Cheng signed the MoU during a meeting at the FNCCI secretariat. An eleven-member delegation of IEMIA Led by Allce Cheng, the Chinese business delegation was in the Capital to promote bilateral trade and investments.

Memorandum of Understanding between The International Enterprise Management and Investment Association (IEMIA) And
The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI)
With the desire to further strengthen and enhancing mutually beneficial trade and economic cooperation between Nepal and Peoples’ Republic of China, the International Enterprise Management and Investment Association called “IEMIA” and the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry hereinafter called “FNCCI” have reached a Memorandum of Understanding hereinafter referred to as “MOU” with the following provisions.
ARTICLE 1
The IEMIA and the FNCCI shall continue to cooperate with each other for expediting the bilateral trade, investment and tourism exchange between Nepal and China.
ARTICLE 2
The IEMIA and the FNCCI shall increase contacts and exchange information with regard to trade, technical transfer, and investment, and shall exchange each other's publications with the objectives of promoting bilateral trade and investment.
ARTICLE 3
The IEMIA and the FNCCI shall encourage and assist its members and affiliates to cooperate with the counterparts for the promotion of joint ventures and trade between two countries.
ARTICLE 4
Both the sides agree to coordinate with each other on (I) trade (II) Investment including Solar Energy (III) Tourism, hotels and restaurant and (IV) Cement factory, among others, to make practical recommendations for promotion of economic links in these fields.
ARTICLE 5
Both sides shall promote the visits of trade and investment missions, and project study groups from the economic and trade circles and shall offer all the possible and relevant services from their respective sides.
ARTICLE 6
Both sides shall cooperate in jointly organizing workshops, seminars, exhibitions, trade fairs, conferences, technical seminars, and displays of the samples and literature of new products and areas of mutual interest.
